Montana Campout

June 19-22, 2025

Summer camp for the Women Who Explore Community!

BOOKING IS LIVE!

For as long as we can remember, it has been a goal to host a HUGE outdoor women's camping event and this summer IT IS HAPPENING!! Women Who Explore will be hosting a women's summer camp at a private 400-acre ranch in Eureka, Montana from June 19-22, 2025. There will be camping and some glamping, games and giveaways, educational workshop and skill building classes, activities, river floats, movie nights and more!

LOCATION: TOBACCO RIVER RANCH

EUREKA, MONTANA

Welcome to big sky country! We chose the location of Tobacco River Ranch to host our first ever Summer Camp for a few reasons. First, it’s gorgeous. The photos don’t even really do it justice! Second, we really hit it off with the owners, Nikki and Karl, after the first phone call. Karl has always dreamed of hosting an event on his property that supports women. Nikki will also be leading our Summer Solstice Celebration for us. Third, this area of Montana is packed full of adventure and epic landscapes, but is still has a quiet charm. This property even connects to Rails to Trails. Last, this location met just about all of our requirements: 1.5 hours or less from an international airport, cabin and camping options, ability to book entire property, space to hold simultaneous classes, stunning landscapes, easy access to outdoor spaces to explore, water.

We had more requirements, but we won’t bore you with the details! Needless to say, this property is amazing and we can’t wait to share this experience with all of you. While visiting Tobacco River Ranch you should know that this is an actual working ranch complete with all the equipment and animals. The owners are working hard to restore their section of the Tobacco River to its original state so be mindful of wild plant life. They also ask that events are as plastic/waste free as possible! We’ll have more details on that below, but it’s just another reason why we love this property.

About Eureka

Eureka is located on Highway 93, a scenic one hour drive north from Whitefish/Kalispell. Eureka is the perfect postcard for the rural Montana lifestyle. The small downtown has a handful of restaurants and stores filled with friendly faces and lots of summer time events - from the weekly farmers market, to the Amish auction, to Rendezvous Days parades, The Quilt Show, County Fair and Bull Thing, there's great activities for all ages. And we're walking/biking distance to the Historical Village, downtown Eureka, and the County Fairgrounds - but far enough away from the roads that you won't see or hear them!

SLEEPING OPTIONS

BYOT (Bring Your Own Tent) - $725

Your first option is to bring all your own gear! There are various areas we will have available for this option AND it is the most plentiful of options! For this option, this means you bring your own tent, sleeping pad, sleeping bag, chair and all other camp gear needed for this weekend. All your gear must fit within a 10x10ft designated spot. Please note you are able to have your own cooler for drinks and basic snacks, but cooking is not allowed. All meals will be provided.

BYOV - (Bring Your Own Van/Vehicle) - $725

For this option, we have an area to park your vehicle that you are sleeping in.

Purchasing this spot includes space for one person in a van or vehicle which they will sleep in with a maximum length of 25 feet or less. This can include regular passenger vehicles, vans, rooftop tents, trailers or RVs. This is dry camping. Water, electricity and dumping is not available or included in this site. There is access to water and electricity in the community spaces.

If you are sharing a van/vehicle with a friend for the camp out, as their travel companion you would also choose this option for your booking.

VIP River Glamp camp - $1200

This option are for those of you that want the camping experience, but maybe can’t travel with all the gear or just don’t want the hassle of setting up! Or friends at DoD Outdoors have provided some amazing tents for us to utilize beside the river.

Our VIP Glamp Camp is in a more secluded space nestled next to the Tobacco River providing ample shade. There is also direct access to the river bank and private bathroom at camp.

This includes space for one person in our VIP GLAMP CAMP. Each glamping tent is a shared space. When you register for this space, you are purchasing one spot in the tent which will be shared with one other guests. This spot also comes with a sleeping pad, sleeping bag, and camp chair. The beds will be assigned on a first come basis. Please note that the camp is situated next to the river and you will need to walk up hill to the community space and events. There will be a wagon available to help haul your personal stuff to camp.

This area does not have electricity and does not have private bathroom facilities. Bathroom facilities will be shared.

Meals

All meals are provided for Summer Camp starting on Thursday night for dinner and Sunday morning breakfast before heading home!

Our main food vendor for this event is Wyld Honeys! If you haven’t heard of them yet, definitely check out their website! These two best friends are the perfect addition for Summer Camp! They will be preparing breakfasts for Fri/Sat/Sun and lunches for Fri/Sat.

For Thursday dinner we’re keeping it easy with a PIZZA PARTY! Guests will be arriving throughout the evening and setting up camp so grab a couple slices provided by the local pizza joint Fire & Slice Pizza when you’re all settled!

Friday and Saturday dinners are provided by the local Tacos4Ever taco truck (yes their logo is a unicorn). For these two meals, you will be given tokens of a particular value and can choose from their menu.

SCHEDULE

Today is arrival today! We are SO excited to have you join us at our first Women Who Explore Summer Camp!

When you arrive at camp, there will be a booth setup ready to get you checked in, situated at your campsite, and ready for the evening festivities. Day 2, June 20, 2025

We have lots of classes and activities available for your choosing! When you book, you’ll be able to make your own schedule. Prefer to take just a couple classes and chill by the river and hangout with friends? You can do that! Maybe you want to take as many classes as possible to build up your skills! You can do that too!

Breakfast and lunch are both provided by Wyld Honey’s today and dinner is the local Taco Truck! You will have tokens to pay for your dinner, but nothing is needed for your breakfast and lunch.

We have special Summer Solstice celebrations in store for the evening!

Day 3, June 21, 2025

It’s another day packed full of activities and classes! We are starting a little later this morning, assuming that the previous nights festivities might run later into the night.

Breakfast and lunch are again provided by Wyld Honey’s and dinner is by the local Taco Truck. If you didn’t try their walking taco the day before, tonight is your chance!

We will wrap up the night with a beach bonfire and getting to know each other better before heading home tomorrow!

Day 4, June 22, 2025

We are sad to see everyone go, but our hearts are SO full from the weekend we have spent together. We hope you have had an amazing time at our first (hopefully of many) Summer Camp.

Before you book, READ CAREFULLY through the following steps!

***Please note when booking that this trip does not follow our usual Cancellation Policy found in our Terms of Service. This trip, and all activities and classes booked, are non-refundable and non-transferable.

STEP 1: Choose Sleep Option

We have various options for basic cabins, VIP camping, Vanlife, or BYOT (Bring Your Own Gear). Please read through all the options carefully when booking. If you are planning on sharing accommodations with a friend (whether it’s a cabin, VIP, or BYOT), please share the details when booking. If you are booking a cabin with a friend, you MUST select the “Double Occupancy Add-On For Cabins Only” at checkout. Your friend will be emailed a separate booking link to pay for their spot and choose their classes. If you are sharing a tent in the BYOT or vehicle in the Vanlife area, you just book one of the same spots and note who you are sharing with at checkout. There is not an extra add-on.

STEP 2: Select Transportation if needed

The Available Options section starts with Group Transportation from FCA Airport. There is another option on the last day (Sunday) to book transportation back to the airport. If you need round-trip transportation, you will need to select both the Thursday transportation AND Sunday transportation. Specific details regarding pick-up and drop-off times will be shared at a later date. Please do not book flights until the transportation times have been confirmed with you.

STEP 3: Build your class/activities schedule

There are MANY class and activity options available! Classes and activities range in cost and group size. Classes and activities are on Friday and Saturday only. Each guest can choose up to 4 classes/activities per day maximum. If you select more than that, we reserve the right to cancel one or more of your classes. There is no minimum number of classes/activities you need to choose. Meaning you do not have to book any classes/activities and can choose to sit by the river the entire time, hike around the property, float in the river or explore the town of Eureka! There will be group activities outside of the class/activity schedule that you do not need to reserve since they are open to the entire group (river float, bonfire, movie night etc.). These will be listed in the schedule above, but not added as an option to book. Some classes/activities have limited spots so please be mindful of the classes you choose and know you are fully committed to attending before booking.
